March Church Activities

Sunday services will start at 11am
Services will be led by the Worship Team,

with the exception of Communion

 on 2 nd March and on 23 rd March when Ian Millar will lead us in our worship
Tea and Coffee in the Church Hall after the service

Below are some of the events on at the church in March – everyone is very welcome to

come and join in – these events are not just for the congregation….

• Thursday 6 th (3pm – 8pm) Friday 7 th (3pm – 8pm) Saturday 8 th (10am – 5pm)
  Rhu Local Place Plan and Ardenconnel Woods Project, in the Church Hall
  Posters, survey, come and have your say…..
• Tuesday 11 th – 7.30 Session meets in the Blue Room
• Friday 21st March - Men's Den, 2.00 to 3.30
  Our regular monthly Men's Den meets on the 3rd Friday of each month in Rhu & Shandon Church Hall.  All men will receive a warm welcome, and of course tea/coffee. For more information contact Charlie on 07554450231
• Saturday 22 nd – Fundraising Ceilidh at the Community Centre - 7.30 until 11.00
  With the Mortimer family band (West Coast Ceilidh Band). Tickets £10 available at church. Bring your own
  bottles. Great raffle and a great night even if you don’t like dancing, come along…
• Friday 28 th  - 1pm – Sandwich Series
  Nikita Lukinov - (Piano) (Mussorgsky Pictures, Debussy Images, Brahms op 118)
  Come for a glass of wine, a sandwich and an hour of wonderful music – suggested donation £15 –

• Saturday 29 th 2.00 – 4.00 Garden/ground works – more weeds – more ivy and tea to refresh you
• Sunday 30th March – 1.00 – 2.00pm Foodbank Collection this month will be in Shandon,
  1.00 – 2.00 - Ardgare slip road
• Tuesdays 4 th , 11 th , 18 th and 25 th March - Knit and Natter, 2.00 - 4.00 in the Church Hall
  Knit and Natter will meet on every Tuesday afternoon till further notice. Drop in anytime between 2 and
  4pm - not limited to knitters …. come along with your knitting/crochet/needlework or just come and have
