Aspiring Places Survey: Closing date 3rd August

Argyll and Bute Council is calling on residents and members of community groups to take part in a short survey that will help shape how the Council works to support community projects in the area.

Launched in March 2025, Aspiring Places is a new digital platform that aims to help community groups come together and support each other with similar ideas. The new resource is also helping to promote local projects and connect groups with funding and opportunities for joint working.

The Council wants to hear from you in a short survey to see if awareness of community projects has increased since the platform’s launch. Feedback will help shape Aspiring Places to meet community needs.

Housing  Need and Demand Demand Survey: Closes 22nd August

The online survey can be found on the Research Resource website

The Council is urging residents of Argyll and Bute to participate in an online survey to help understand the area’s housing needs and neighbourhoods. Conducted by Research Resource on behalf of the Council, the results of the Housing Need and Demand Assessment will help influence future Council decisions on housing investment and policy covering communities in Argyll and Bute.

Research Resource has been contacting random households in the area for feedback over the last few months, both via telephone and in person. However, to gather views from as many households as possible, the survey is now available online to enable more people to participate.

All the information collected in the survey will remain strictly confidential under the terms of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and will be used for research and statistical purposes only.
