Local Place Plan (LPP)

 The LPP  determines development areas and attendant budget strategies for the next decate after LDP3 is adopted.

It is the most important document the CC can produce on behalf of the community as it feeds into the next Local Development Plan(LDP3)

A survey has been produced which ideally everyone in Rhu and Shandon will complete.

The views of residents are vital to shaping the furure of Rhu and Shandon.

Key Dates:

Community consultation in Rhu and Shandon Parish Church Hall will be held on

• • • Thursday 6 March 3-8pm
    • Friday 7 March 3-8pm
    • Saturday 8 March 10am – 5pm
    • Consultation closes 8 March 2025

The Completed draft of the plan will be presented to community  before submission to Argyll and 
Bute Council – date TBC

To take part in the survey  go to bit.ly/Rhu-Shandon to answer online. Paper copies are availablev but it will be easier to collate the data if you answer online.

The survey also  contains a section on Ardenconnell Woods, which will help R&Scommunity Trust to develop plans to manage and conseve the woods.
