NHS and Scam Texts

Message from the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde

Please be  vigilant about unsolicited texts purporting to be from the NHS, as they could be a scam.

Recently  a patient received a text message saying: “A space has come up for the procedure you’re waiting on plese click the link and fill out details.”

if you receive a similar message, please ignore it. Do not click on any links and do not share any personal details.

If you have a loved one or friend who you think may be vulnerable to fake texts of this nature, please share this information with them and help them know what to do.

To report a scam text, contact Police Scotland on 101.
