Timber Transport

As you probably know, the movement of timber trucks up and down Pier and Station Roads is goverend by a TTMP-aTimber Transport Management  We have had several reports of trucks  not abiding by this plan.

They are only permitted to travel between 6am and 7pm, and they must not travel during the School Run hours which are listed as  8.30 to 9.30 and 15.00 to 16.30.  They should not be travelling in convoy; in fact they should be at least 45 minutes apart. The speed limit should be no more than 20mph.
