Glenarn Heritage Walk
Added on 24 April 2018
Sunday 26th April
Meet at 2.30pm at the gate
The guided walk will bring to life the history; Andrew MacGeorge the first owner and the Gibson family who created the west coast garden on top of the earlier layout. It will explore the Victorian structures and features: for instance the quarry, well, carriage house and the main house itself and will explain how the garden developed and changed horticulturally.
Normal entrance charge applies (£5) but no charge for the guided walk.
Location
Turn up Pier Road opposite Rhu Marina, and after 200 yards take the first turning on the right down Glenarn Road. We are at the end.
