Make sure you have the application number and be sure to quote it prominantly if you use email. Be sure to say clearly in your email whether you support or object to the application.The advantage of making an electronic comment is that you can register to receive updates at the same time.
Planning applications must be determined in accordance with the Local Development Plan, unless material considerations indicate otherwise.
A&B will investigate any alleged breaches of planning or listed building control, unauthorised development and also strategically monitor any consents that have been issued.

At the end of each working week, Argyll and Bute publish the list of Validated Planning Applications for the whole of Argyll and Bute, grouped into the Four Administrative areas of Argyll and Bute. The Lists on this site are extractions consisting of those applications which are relevant to Rhu and Shandon.
