PUBLIC NOTICE
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO USE OF ROAD
Notice is hereby given that under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, 
as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, use of the following 
road by the undernoted classes of vehicle will be prohibited for the stated period of time.
Name of Road/Extent of Restriction: A814 Dumbarton to Arrochar Road, from its junction with A814/B872 Whisltefield roundabout in a northerly direction to its junction with A83 Arrochar for a distance of 13.8 Kilometres or thereby.

C69, from its junction with A814 in an easterly direction to its junction with A82 for a 
distance of 9.5 Kilometres or thereby.

Alternative Route: A814, A817, A82, A83 and vice versa.

Type of Restrictions: Temporary Prohibition of Traffic.
Period of Restriction/Closure: When indicated by signs from 0800 hours on 5th August 
2024 to 2000 hours on 9th August 2024.
Reason for Closure: Planned works on or near the road.
Classes of Vehicles prohibited: All vehicles except those involved in the works, access 
will be maintained for emergency services and to affected properties where available.
