Have your say on Pop-Up Stations: ***URGENT***
Survey Closes Thursday 22nd March 4pm
Typical Time spent = 3mins
A pop -up station is a temporary train stop set-up to test the demand for a railway station at that location
If the usage justifies it, a business plan will be produced for a permanent station.
Ross Greer, Green MSP for the West of Scotland, has secured £2 Million to explore the idea of pop-up stations on his patch.
As you can see from the full text of the Press Release, posted on our website on February 9th, he is suggesting that Rhu and Shandon are possibilities for Pop-Up Stations.
A short questionaire has been prepared. It has been sent to our Mailing list or you can respond.
- by clicking on the link here Note that Q5 & Q7 only allow one choice. If you want to select more than one, select 'Other' and type in you choices.
- filling in and depositing a paper copy available in Rhu Post Office.
Please complete the short questionnaire and encourage all your neighbours, who may not see this posting. The Community Council are scheduled to have a meeting with Ross Greer friday 23rd March week and want to be sure that we represent your views.
