A pop -up station is a temporary train stop set-up to test the demand for a railway station at that location
If the usage justifies it, a business plan will be produced for a permanent station.
Ross Greer, Green MSP for the West of Scotland, has secured £2 Million to explore the idea of pop-up stations on his patch.
As you can see from the full text of the Press Release, posted on our website on February 9th, he is suggesting that Rhu and Shandon are possibilities for Pop-Up Stations.
