Friday December 2nd . Switch on of the Christmas tree lights on Rhu Green
Spearheaded by Rhu and Shandon Community Council many local organizations are co-operating to make the switch on of the Christmas Tree lights in Rhu an occasion to remember.
The lighted tree on the green signals the start of the festive season and a welcome addition to the dark winter evenings for motorists and pedestrians alike.
An afternoon and evening of events are planned and we hope that you will find something to your liking
RHU CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL PROGRAMME - Friday 2nd December
·2.30pm - 4.30pm Rhu Church Hall.
Organized by Rhu Primary School Parents Association
Christmas Jumper Bonanza, Games, Stalls, Coffee, Teas, Treats, Festive Fair - Location: Rhu Church Hall
·4.45pm - 6.15pm The Royal Northern Yacht Club
Public Bar Open, Teas, Coffee And Cake
·6.30pm - 8.30pm Village Green Switch On Event
Organised by Rhu & Shandon Community Council, ably assisted by Helensburgh & Garelochside Rotary Club
Santa will be present along with live entertainment, performers, street food, and festive fun for all the family to enjoy.

The newly refurbished Rhu Inn will take over with a Christmas Party Night including Live Entertainment
Car parking will be available throughout the afternoon and evening at The Royal Northern Yacht Club and in Rhu & Shandon Parish Church grounds.
