If any member of the public has any concerns about the way that a utility company is working on the carriageway or footway there are several ways to find the relevant information that they may be looking for.

Every site should have a notice board with the details and phone number of the contractor who is working at that location.

If you need more information, you can access online the website of the Scottish Road Works Commissioner. On this site you can use the map to locate the street and you will find  details of the company who is working there, a contact phone number and with the details of how long the works are planned for.

There is also the legislation and guidance about road works code of practice, specifications for the reinstatements of openings in roads and any other relevant information that could be required to assist with your enquiry.
