A&B Local Development Plan Main Issues Report.

Argyll and Bute Council is preparing a new Local Development Plan (LDP2), which will set out its planning and development proposals for the next 10 years from 2020 and a vision for 20 years.

The first formal stage of that process is a public consultation called the Main Issues Report.

This report sets out, through a series of questions, how the proposed new Local Development Plan 2 might differ from the existing Local Development Plan and asks views on those proposals. At this stage the Council has yet to reach a firm view and is seeking as much opinion as possible which will be used to inform the production of the Proposed Local Development Plan which is due to be published in 2018.

The Main Issue Report consultation will run for 8 weeks from Monday 16^th October until Monday 11^th December 2017. You can view the report and respond to the consultation online at https://www.argyll-bute.gov.uk/ldp2. The documents can also be found at all public libraries and the council offices at 1a Manse Brae, Lochgilphead, PA31 8RD.
