Lights Switch-on Event

 Rhu Christmas Lights Switch On Event will take place on Friday 1st December from 6.30 to 8.30pm at Rhu village green. There will be a lot going on!

• Beano Disco Group led by Andrew Broadbelt 

• Santa Claus, his assistant elves, and Rhu Primary school children will be ceremoniously switching on the iconic grand Christmas tree lights at 7pm.

• live vocal performances
• a children’s Chair-O-Plane Ride,

• Lucky Hammer Stall
• Dancing Elves
• Candy Floss Stall,
• ​​​​​​​a Children’s Dance Competition, 

• Free Hot Chocolate by Rhu and Shandon Parish Church,

• Cafe at Kilcreggan Hog Roast team with multiple food provisions and drinks, 

• The Olde Christmas Shoppe - purveyors of all things Christmas.
• And of course Santa will be setting up his Grotto and providing gifts for a magical children's experience and only £3.00 per child.
