Boundary Commission
Added at 16:14 on 05 December 2023
You will be aware that the Boundary Commission has proposed that Lomond North be moved into the Argyll and Bute Constituency for elections to the Scottish Parliament.
On behalf of Rhu and Shandon, the Community Council objected to this. This was our objection You can read other submissions on this page of the Boundary Commissions website by clicking here.
There is a chance to follow up at Public meetings on Wednesday 13th December at Clydebank Leisure Centre. In the chair will be Sean Murphy KC, Sheriff Principal of North Strathclyde.
There are two sessions: 2.00-4.00 and 6.00-8.00.
These are open meetings, but if you wish to speak you should contact the Commission on 0131 244 2001 or boundaries.scot@scottishboundaries.gov.uk.
The Community Council would like to know what you think. Comments here or to secretary@rhuandshandoncommunity.org
